Miss World Australia holds State Finals and then finalists go forward into the Miss World Australia Final.
The NSW Finals will be held in October 2008.
The ACT Finals will be held in November 2008
The National Finals; The Miss World Australia Gala Crowning Dinner will be held in April 2009. This is a high profile media driven even which will attract interest from all parts of the community.
These courses are not compulsory. All courses available for Miss World Australia contestants are set out to benefit the contestants during this competition, and to turn these contestants into confident, well groomed and well spoken ambassadors.
In 1949 June-Dally Watkins emerged as Australia's 'Model of the Year' and was declared "Australia's Most Photographed Model" for the same year. Building on her modeling success and driven by her mother's determination, Miss Dally set about establishing the first Personal Development School in the southern hemisphere.
From there, Miss Dally has expanded the school to include Australia's first Business Finishing College, school holiday programmes, weekend courses and corporate training.
Miss Dally is also the Ambassador for Crossroads International, a charity which provides for the destitute in third world countries.

Discover the tricks of the trade for really working the camera. 'Be the Best you Can Be!' bringing out the best in you and your garments
Programme Delivery
These courses will be held at the premises of June Dally-Watkins offices at The University Centre, 210 Clarence Street, Sydney.
Teaching Style
Programmes are delivered lecture style with workbooks and power-point presentations, role plays and small group exercises. We encourage participant interaction as much as possible.
Investment
The investment for NSW & ACT Contestants would be as follows;
Day 1 - Complimentary
Day 2 - $65 per participant for the day
Day 3 - $65 per participant for the day
Please note these courses are not compulsory for contestants, but we encourage every contestant to take advantage of these heavily discounted courses, as this will improve your chances of success, both with Miss World Australia but most importantly for your future.
Boot Camp is a fun, motivating, highly exhilarating military style outdoor training program designed to challenge all aspects of your health and fitness. The course is designed to challenge you physically and mentally.
Contestants do not need to be fit to do Boot Camp. All contestants will undergo a BFA (Basic Fitness Test). Every precaution to ensure that all contestants are safe at all times. All instructors carry first aid kits and are trained in first aid.
